Will united allow Rooney to head to Chelsea?

After an impressive showing against Chelsea on Monday, Manchester United have been dealt a huge blow ahead of tomorrow’s game against Liverpool with news that Wayne Rooney could miss the clash.

Reports claim that the striker was kicked in the face in a training ground accident at the Carrington and was rushed to hospital to receive attention.

With the striker apparently receiving stitches in his face, Rooney is unlikely to feature in tomorrow’s grudge match against Liverpool. This will disappoint punters who backed Rooney to score anytime at sites like bwin.

There has been no confirmation from the club in regards to the incident, but with a number of papers reporting the incident has taken place it could be a case of no smoke without fire.

With David Moyes still looking for his first win at Anfield, this news so close to the game is likely to have thrown a huge spanner in the works.

Who needs Rooney when we’ve got Welbeck and the ninja Kagawa.

How can you say who needs Rooney , that’s just bravado , if he misses the game advantage Liverpool !!!

      • Paul says:

You suggesting Rooney is better than Kagawa in the No.10 position. Rooney’s playmaking abilities dont compare.

  2. Mikey says:

Obviously Utd do or you would have sold him to Chelski!!!!!!

      Absolutely!!

    • Timmy says:

No we dont, we have RVP, anything Roo can do he can do better. Rooney not being sold to Chelsea shows just how smart Moyes is, if Rooney wont play for us he definately isnt playing for another english team.
