Prior to becoming a Manchester United superstar RVP was snapped with Brazilian great Ronaldinho.
Following a clash between Holland and Brazil the two posed for this photo but whilst United missed out on Ronaldinho, Sir Alex got his man in RVP and it proved a brilliant move as the Dutchman fired United to success last term.
You can only imagine what Ronaldinho would have done at United as the Brazilian went on to become one of the world’s best players at Barcelona after rejecting United.
Alas, we didn’t do too badly, a spotty youngster called Cristiano Ronaldo was signed instead and the rest, as they say, is history!
