Van Persie Talks Up Januzaj But Insists ‘He’s not the new van Persie’

Robin Van Persie has hailed his Manchester United teammate Adnan Januzaj, revealing that he sees himself in the 18 year old.

Januzaj was named as a sub in Manchester United’s 3-2 win over Stoke today, coming on at 2-1 to help inspire United to victory as United struck twice to take 3 points from Mark Hughes’ side.

And after the game Van Persie hailed his teammates’ impact, claiming that the youngster was one of the best he’s played with.

But Van Persie wasn’t finished and went on to praise for Januzaj further, adding he said he can similarities between himself and the starlet:

“I see similarities in his game to mine 10 years ago. He’s not the new van Persie, he’s the new Adnan.”

    No he is not the new van persie but can said giggs. The way he took the ball with his left foot and running fast with four player surrounding him remaind me of giggs young days remember the famous goal with arsenal

    After this match i think DM should change his tactics in 4-5-1 with two defensive midfielder.the rest januzaj,valencia,rooney,van persie,kagawa,chicharito,nani will do the job.

    United had great chance in central to score long range shoot like scholes does. I notice every united corner the ball went in central but the player doesn’t shoot like scholes does. We fans shout shoot shoot but no the passes or loses the ball. But am happy one united player is scoring like that with wigan. Its known other than nick powell. His first united goal come like that also. Moyes bring him back in january. He is our new scholes . Midfielder should be like him when there is chance they should shoot from long range.

    For me Januzaj was wonderful,just after he came in with his clever passes and clever penetration everything changed all of suddenly, ithink moyes should play the lad more often, chicharito also should get the chance to impress.

    Moyes made the best substitution yesterday.Nani ddnt play his game.But i will love to see united play in the diamond formation.we need to strengthen our defence,cant aford to concede too many goals.De gea was my man of the match.i really will love to see januzaj and kagawa rullin the wings.cleverly did OK for me
