Antoine Griezmann

Real Sociedad’s Antoine Griezmann has revealed that he is being watched by a host of clubs including La Real’s group rivals Manchester United.

The French winger has been a constant fixture for Sociedad this season, appearing in all of the Basque club’s league games bar one and already has 7 goals in 10 games.

United are on the hunt for creative players, and have been looking in Spain extensively with both Cesc Fabregas and Ander Herrera touted as potential targets this summer. Whilst nothing came of United’s interest for the pair, manager David Moyes will likely continue his search in January ahead of next summer.

Griezmann appeared against United at the end of last month, losing 1-0 at Old Trafford and believes that he is now on the radar of his opponents.

The French u21 international is quoted by Tutto Mercato as saying:

“I know that some English clubs are following me and that Manchester United is one of them.

“It’s nice to hear such a thing, but I’m not letting it destabilise my work.”

With United taking on Real Sociedad again this week, it provides the club another opportunity to cast their eye over the youngster.
