Last month Javier Hernandez was guilty of an awful miss as Mexico took on Costa Rica in a World Cup qualifier, and tonight he repeated the feat as United drew 0-0 with Real Sociedad.
The normally lethal Chicharito was left with a simple tap in following Shinji Kagawa’s cross from the left but with the goal at his mercy Hernandez skied his shot, leaving the score at 1-1.
These misses are uncharacteristic as the Mexican is known to be deadly in the box. Hopefully these are just kinks and the striker isn’t losing his touch!
