Shinji Kagawa was given another run out last night against Real Sociedad and whilst he didn’t steal the headlines, the Japanese playmaker put in a solid performance that caught the eye of Zonal Marking‘s Michael Cox.
Cox believes that Kagawa’s partnership with Evra down the left is typical of Moyes’ and will be come a key component to Moyes’ United side, overloading down the flanks and providing a threat from wide areas.
Yesterday the Kagawa/Evra partnership was the most fruitful for United with the duo exchanging passes 28 times.
It was Kagawa that had the only shot on target in the first half after coming in off the left and it was Kagawa that set up Javier Hernandez for his missed tap in, with a cross from the left too.
Moyes has said before that the position is one that Kagawa can play and it appears that he is taking to his new role. Of course Kagawa remains a more potent threat through the middle, he switched there later on in the game and again showed his qualities but with Moyes unlikely to switch him there at Rooney’s expense, a position out wide seems like his best chance at game time.
And if he can continue to link up with Evra like he did against Sociedad, he can make the position his own.

Moyes bring back nick powell this boy is terrefic. With long shoot goal this boy true is our paul scholes. Bring him back we need him in midfield.
Moyes now i see that our midfield young player in impressing in their loan spell and deserve first team chance so why not send our defender also we need central defender.
