Marouane Fellaini red card

David Moyes has admitted the Marouane Fellaini has been off the boil since signing for Manchester United, but has an idea why the £27.5m signing hasn’t quite lived up to expectation.

Fellaini joined United at the last minute from Everton, in a move that raised a number of eyebrows. After impressing in a cameo against Crystal Palace on his debut, Fellaini has failed to impress with an especially lacklustre performance in the Manchester derby.

Last time out against Real Sociedad, Fellaini saw red after committing a number of fouls and Moyes believes that the Belgian has simply been the victim of circumstance:

“I watched him playing and he looked a little bit behind.

“I had to put him in earlier than I’d have liked.

“I planned to put him in much slower to bring him on and give him a chance to settle in. But we put him in early because we needed it.

“I didn’t think he was quite ready then but I actually thought he played well in Sociedad.”

The slap dash nature of Fellaini’s move from Goodison Park meant it was always likely that the Belgian would take time to bed into the team.

New settings as well as new team mates, means patience is required if we are to see Fellaini get back to the form he displayed et Everton, as one of the league’s top performers.

Yellow face manager, dont expect that your bighead, big summer signing will make impact at trafford. Its is place where only played by great players not like useless felaini… His price shows he is world players, but his skills show him as aged man who cant run, tackle ball, watching in the pitch……
Utd is my favourite. However, when i see useless big summer signing, i m awitching TV off…
Manager, you will ruin the status of united if you are collecting such lazy players with handsome amount… 100@ of united fan is ctritcising him… Ask him to read twitter or comments…
If you use bighead, you will never win a match… He is just chasing the shadow of his opponent and fans too…
HE WILL NEVER SUCCESS AT TRAFFORD…
SHIP HIM OUT AND GET BETTER ONE WITH CHEAP PRICE…

Well if that aint the pot calling the kettle black,- i don’t agree with Ugyen Wangchuk comment
but he his entitled to say what he thinks and in one sense he is correct, i also feel Felainie
is not up to Man United Standards i get the feeling it was a one for the boys signings, hopefully he can prove me wrong, but the last thing Manchester United need is foul
-mouthed insulting supporters like you, who really should be supporting the local schools
        Tiddly-Wink team.

  4. ole gunnar says:

Moyes atleast try to played kagawa as central midfielder. If rooney a striker and giggs a left winger or jones a central defender can played there so why not kagawa. We fans keep comment player him in centre. If centre in for rooney so try another central in midfield area with kagawa creative he will create more chance to striker to score goals with jones or carrick partner with him in this position as defensive midfielder and on top two brillant winger valencia (R),januzaj(L) JUST IMAGINE.

  5. ole gunnar says:

    De gea
    rafael,vidic,evans,evra
    valencia,jones,kagawa,januzaj,rooney,van persie.

    Sub coming:
chicharito will score in this match.
Carrick make his return in second half after his injuries recover.
    Fellaini

Yes Fellani isn’t playing at Man U’s level.Yes he shows lack of quality when playing.
But who says he can’t improve on his game style.
I’m optimistic because when i look back his days in Everton,i see a player with an offensinve instict,a whokaholic and one with the required quality/class to excel in Man U.
But one thing i’ve come to realise is that while some players are instant hit in a new club especially one as huge as ManU,some blends with time.
I believe he will find his feet sooner than later.
All he needs now is our support and nothing less.

sir matt and bill shankley both believed in the theorey ”IF YOU’RE GOOD ENOUGH ,YOU’RE OLD ENOUGH” and this still stands true. januzaj was given the opportunity and has shown that he has all the tools reqd. to be a top flight footballer provided he is nurtioured and educated towards that outcome. in POWELL, LINGARD, ZAHA we have more excellent prospects who have to be gradually introduced to top flight football at the expense of the following
ASHLEY YOUNG — over-rated one trick pony not worth persevering with ( sell asap)
ANTONY VALENCIA — a more one legged , over-rated , one trick pony i have yet to see,and it is a toss up between him and the aforementioned as to who should exit OLD TRAFFORD first.
MAROUNAI FELLAINI– a waste of TIME, MONEY, SPACE and only gets a start because he was a scape-goat to appease MAN. UTD. fans who were expecting more in the last transfer window who instead of getting a marquee player ended up with the DUMMY

If we win today we will reach in 5 place with 20 point but i seem difficult with arsenal player girou, ozil, ramsay, cazorla, rosikey, arteta. Some many good midfielder.
And we moyes surly will put carrick, cleversly or fellaini and a player like kagawa in left.

  9. manufan says:

With such midfielder that arsenal have i would put a strong team to face them and break their collection game as u know how they played.

    Degea
    rafael,rio,vidic,evra-(defences)

    jones,kagawa,(central midfielder)
    valencia,januzaj(wingers)
    rooney
    van persie(attack)

then see how kagawa create opportunity and combine with rooney, januzaj, valencia. As for jones he is in a positon as defensive midfielder which he is too good in this position.

    Sub coming:
    carrick(after recover from injuries)
chicharito which have good record with arsenal scoring in last minutes.
