Reus

Borussia Dortmund attacker Marco Reus has cast doubt on his future in the Rhine, with Manchester United reportedly sniffing around him.

Reus has been in excellent form for Jurgen Klopp’s side this season, with 21 goals and 15 assists.

A reported transfer target for incoming manager Louis Van Gaal, the 24 year old has a £28million buyout clause, which becomes active in the summer in the contract but with just two years left on the deal Dortmund are desperate to open talks over a new deal that will allow them to veto the clause.

But if his latest comments are anything to go by, he may already be looking at an exit from the Westfalenstadion:

‘It’s like that in this business. Every player only has one career and wants to get the best out of it.

‘You have to decide what’s best for you. We’ll see about that.’

With no silverware to his name since joining in 2012, Reus is looking to convert his on-field efforts into trinkets:

‘Every footballer has his goals and is dreaming of winning titles. At the end of your career, you want to be able to say that you’ve won many titles.’

With Bayern Munich’s apparent dominance of Germany well underway, could a move away from the Bundesliga allow him to achieve this?

Reus is better than young Giggs.so immediately sign him.Now release useless players such as Young,Nani,Cleverley,Carrick,Fletcher,Evanand also Degea.

Even though I loved nani when he was a prospect, i agree he has been useless this past season and the season before that for that matter. But saying that about De Gea and Carrick is absurd. Carrick has always been the middle man for united and is one of the reasons united have always been able to hold the lead ( granted he’s not a game changer). And De Gea has had an awesome season even though united have done terribly. He is also up for the Matt Busby award.(united player of the year) along with rooney and januzaj. One of the incoming best goal keepers being so young, playing well and playing in a reputable club. Pls dont talk out of your ass. Thank youuu

    • Tipperj says:

You were doing ok until De Gea. Are you serious? One of the best young goalkeepers in the world, he’s been excellent, and consistent, this season
