Wayne Rooney has tweeted his approval of Louis Van Gaal, after the Dutchman was named Manchester United manager.
Van Gaal was named Manchester United manager yesterday afternoon on a 3 year deal.
As soon as Van Gaal was linked with the job many papers immediately began highlighting potential problems between the two, with some claiming that Van Gaal would favour RVP over the English striker whilst others believed that the two would clash due to their temperaments.
But Rooney has attempted to put that notion to bed with a tweet in support of his new manager:
Great to see Louis Van Gaal has been named @ManUtd manager. Looking forward to working with him
