Shaw is very active on Twitter and during last night’s Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, he was online and his activity was very telling.
A United account, @UnitedRoadd, tweeted “Let’s just bid for Di Maria”. The tweet was duly favourited by the potential United signing. He soon unfavourited it, and if you check now there is a tweet about Liverpool’s Champions League win in Istanbul but a keen eyed United fan caught it.
Is Shaw telling us something?

He cannot take someone on and beat them. he cannot deliver corners without overhitting them and his shots at goal are usually way off.

Di Maria is an amazing player and a perfect fit for United I think. He’s fast, tricky and is an amazing crosser of the ball. He works hard off the ball, can play in both flanks and at the centre and is experienced at the top level. He’s but obviously behind Ronaldo and Bale in Madrid and even though he found a place in the team playing in the centre, Madrid are still linked with midfielders so he must be available.
