Macheda v Burnley

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has added to his Manchester United contingent at Cardiff by signing out of contract striker Kiko Macheda.

The Italian rose to prominence in 2009 when his last minute goal against Aston Villa rescued Manchester United’s faltering title challenge. With big things expected of him, his career has failed to progress as expected and a series of failed laon left him in the wilderness.

More recently Macheda has fared better away from the club with successful spells at both Doncaster and Birmingham but neither were enough to rescue his United career.

But former reserve team manager Solskjaer has swooped in to sign the forward on a 3 year deal.
