Manchester United are in the transfer news yet again.
This time, they are rumoured to be in close talks with Real Madrid midfielder, Sami Khedira. The 28-year old German mid-fielder has been in talks with multiple other clubs as well, namely Liverpool and Chelsea, but it appears that he may be leaning towards taking his talents to Old Trafford to suit up with the Red Devils.
Khedira’s contract terminates this summer and Real Madrid have indicated that they do not see Khedira in their future plans.
While the addition of Khedira is an interesting move to consider, it is fair to question whether United really need him. United have been playing really great football of late, and they are on the fast track to playing Champions League football next year.
Additionally, Khedira has had issues staying fit this season. He has taken the pitch just 17 times for Madrid since the World Cup. Nagging injuries have haunted him all season long.
