As the transfer rumours continue to fly, the latest buzz around Old Trafford is a possible link between United and Barcelona defender, Dani Alves.
The Barca right back is set to be out of a contact following this Saturday’s much-anticipated Champions League Final against Juventus.
While the Brazilian would like to stay in a Barcelona outfit, it is believed that the La Liga giants will let Alves walk this summer.
The 32-year-old is being pursued by Manchester United and PSG, both of whom could use a defender with as much experience as Alves.
Since signing with Barca back in 2008, Alves has become one of the most highly decorated defenders in the world.
Alves has won five La Liga titles, two European Cups, two UEFA Super Cups, the Club World Cup, three Copa del Rey and four Spanish Super Cups in his time at Camp Nou.
With a resume like that, it’s no surprise that United, or any team, would want a piece of Alves. He would provide immeasurable leadership and experience to any team who hopes to compete at the highest level in football.
