After joining the club a few months ago, Anthony Martial has portrayed impeccable excellence in his football skills. He is expected to produce exceptional results over his four-year-contract with Manchester United. Could he be the club’s next superstar?
Martial’s History
He is a French professional football player born on 5 December 1995, in Massy France. He plays as a forward at the Manchester United Premier League club and the French national team. In 2015, Martial was awarded the ‘Golden Boy Award’. This was for his excellence as the best under-21-years player in Europe. At a young age, Martial played football for Co Les Ulis youth football club. He started his professional football career at Lyon from 2012 to 2013. He later transferred to AS Monaco in 2013 for a fee of €6 million.

Martial played for AS Monaco for two seasons until 2015. He then signed a four-year contract with Manchester United. The initial fee for his contract with Manchester United was £36 million. Nevertheless, the price could potentially rise to £57.6 million after the completion of his four-year contract. The amount was the largest ever paid to a teenager in the history of football. Martial also made his debut by scoring in his first match for Manchester United. For this reason, he was accorded the ‘Premier League Player of the Month’ award.
The 2015-2016 Season
