Having just ended a long and illustrious career, Edwin van der Sar did the normal thing and recorded the details of his time in the game in a book.
In his 21 years, he won the Champions League twice as well as 8 league titles (4 with us and 4 with Ajax) amongst other accolades and his story is told in full in the book which he presented today with the help of former team mate and current Ajax coach Frank de Boer.
Thanks to @InnaMUFC_Vettel for the image
In other news a plethora of stars have been confirmed for Edwin’s testimonial including: Frank de Boer, Scholes, Ferdinand, Vidic, Overmars, Seedorf, Litmanen, Del Piero and Gary Neville.

??? funny accent? van der Sar can speak many languages, including English, Dutch, Spanish, German, Italian and French…and fluent, like many Dutch people. He speaks better than most “English or British” footballers, anyway….
Coach of MU? don’t think so, maybe goalkeeper coach one day when he’s bored of home life.
Truely a Great goal keeper, I don’t know why he wasn’t signed by MU earlier, I know SAF tried to hijack him going to Fulham, but Edwin didn’t want to come to MU at that time.
You can safely say he won MU the Champs League.
