This morning Gary Neville granted fans a quick Q & A as he made his journey back to Manchester by train.

Never one to mince his words, the former Manchester United right back gave some interesting answers via the ‘Grill Gary’ hashtag including thoughts on leaving United and going into tackles with intention to hurt.

Here are some of the best United related ones:

What was you’re favorite match as a player? 99 FA Cup semi replay

Did you ever contemplate leaving Man Utd at any point in your career? Last game v West Brom after 20 mins

Best moment of career? United Debut- Youth Cup win- Treble- England Debut

What was your worst defeat? Not a defeat but West Ham 1995 last day

Being a red to you find it hard to give fair analysis of other sides like City/Liverpool?  No the game is the game (this is an interesting one because hen it was first announced he would be taking up a position with with Sky, many thought he would struggle to give a balanced view considering his club ties. Amazingly fans of all clubs seem to be a fan of hi work as a pundit and appreciate the honesty view of an ex pro)

Who was your best friend at Old Trafford? Becks/Scholesy/Butty/ Giggsy/Casper/Thornley/Phil.

Did you ever receive the hair dryer treatment from Sir Alex? If yes, what for? Yes regularly! Poor play or my mouth.

Has anyone tried to give back some of Fergie’s hair dryer treatment to him? Yes but not with any great success!

Have u ever went into a tackle with a vision to hurt someone? Not in the first team. (Was it in training, a reserve game? Who was the player?! And what did they do to draw such a reaction from Neville?)
