Whilst I’m pissed off that Rooney has acted in such a way and has chosen to walk out on the club I think this is a bit extreme.

The emotion of regret is a strong one and I’d ather have him regret his decision and have to coming crawling back on his hands and knees when he realises the mistake he has made than use bullying and scare tactics.

Hopefully this was a one off situation!

I have to say I’m saddened rather than angry with the whole situation.

I would be angry if he joined City (or Liverpool) but threatening behaviour is not acceptable.

United are better than any one player!

I don’t think this is a death threat — just a statement of fact.

Once you join Citeh, you are dead.

Totally agree with you here. I`m also pissed about the recent news on Rooney, but while we dont know what will happen lets chill for a bit. We dont know exactly what lies truly behind all this, and I think we should be open for Rooney to change his mind. If he appologises, and explain a thing or that is.

Think he got an ultimatum from Coleen to give up United or me, after se got to know Wayne met some of the other United players while Jenna the hoe was with him.

If Rooney stays, and is as comitted on the pitch as ever, I will forgive him after some time, at least I think so.

I’m glad I didn’t say anything like we’re better off without him. He sure didn’t act gracefully, but in the grand scheme of things it’s not a great sin. He’s given his all the last 7 years (well, apart from the last few weeks or so) so he’s earned a bit of grace.

OUR NEED FOR A CREATIVE MIDFIELD OUTWEIGHS ANY OF THIS. I HOPE THIS ANNOUNCEMENT DOESN’T DETRACT FROM THAT.

all this makes me feel empty. If we weren’t so strapped for cash Utd should have turned their back on him.
