With news of Rooney returning to the club after his excursion to the States to regain his fitness and at least likely to make the bench for tomorrow’s game against Wigan, there have been some mixed views.
Some people are rightly still angry with the striker after what has transpired in regards to a new contract and attempting to move on whilst others are willing to put the matter in the past and attempt to move forward. There is weight behind each stance, Rooney disrespected the club massively but also he is a top player and one of, if not our best.
