Germany appears the go to country for hot young talent these days and United are apparently right in the mix.

Having been linked with now Real Madrid starlet Mesut Ozil in the summer, the likes of Ilkay Gundogan of Nuremberg and Shinji Kagawa of Dortmund have both been linked with United in recent months.

Now you can add the Dortmund’s teenager Mario Goetze to the list.

With Dortmund flying high in the Bundesliga, it is inevitable that we will be linked with their players (see Kagawa) and Goetze is no exception.

The 18 year old has been starring for the league leaders and has 5 goals and 6 assists to his name including a strike against Michael Ballack’s Bayern Leverkusen and has already made his debut for the German national team, last year against Sweden. He made history that night being one of two players to be the first to play for the national team having been born in unified Germany.

Supposedly his performances have attracted the attention of Europe’s finest including us, Chelsea and the obvious option Bayern Munich so expect a summer ‘will he won’t he’ saga then!

Even the angels will want you!

Watched this guy in the Leverkusen game, was very very good. Quick, great technique and vision, the commentators and pundits were really singing his praises.
