Kiko Macheda has kept up his impressive scoring record under u21 manager Ciro Ferrara with scoring in his third consecutive game.

Macheda, on loan at Sampdoria, hit his fourth in three games against Sweden after the keeper spilled a long range shot and he was the first to react, holding off challenges from two players to get Italy’s third.

Macheda also wore the captain’s armband in the game.

  1. Good finish by Kiko but check out the tackle on 42 seconds! Shocking if he got away with that.
