Javier Hernandez after he scored his second goal against ParaguayThe season may be over but it appears Javier Hernandez is in no mood to stop hitting the back of the net.

Having scored 20 for United this term, Hernandez is looking to carry his goalscoring form into what is set to be a busy summer for the Mexican international.

In Mexico’s opening game of the Gold Cup, Hernandez scored a hat trick topped off with a sweetly chipped penalty despite the best efforts of the goalkeeper to put him off, to get their defence of their title underway.

His three goals helped Mexico to a 5-0 win and takes his record for El Tricolor to an impressive 17 in 24 appearances.

Lets hope he saves some of his goals for the start of the season in August!

Hi Diego, Good morning, I think from the Barcelona game after 20 minutes Hernandez was found out if you like bye Gerard Pique and Mascherano, they played him differently as in he was not on the defensive line and being caught off side, 5 times I recall. The balls being fired up to Javier because of his height were being easily won bye the Barcelona defenders staying slightly behind him..Javier never really got a sniff there after, it was partially I think due to him being brushed of the ball, he is working and improving the physical side of his training in the gym, that will improve for certain. In my opinion that was where a change of armoury was needed and the ‘introduction’of Dimitar Berbatov to hold the ball up and allow the likes of Wayne to get up close bye to put the Barcelona defence under threat. But as we know and hindsight is marvelous, no Berbatov to be seen.Which in my opinion on he day(hindsight) was an error.
However its great to see our £6.00 Million magician still can find the back of the Onion sack, with lesser players supporting him than he would have sorrounding him at United.
Its all in the past now mate, great things to look forward to.

  9. I wish more people would write sites like this that are actually interesting to read. With all the crap floating around on the internet, it is rare to read a site like yours instead.

  10. I just could not leave your website before suggesting that I extremely loved the usual information a person supply on your guests? Is gonna be again frequently in order to inspect new posts
