With his penalty against Serbia, Javier Hernandez took his goal tally for Mexico to 23 goals in 33 games.

At just 23, Hernandez is a good bet to go on and become Mexico’s all time top goalscorer taking over from Jared Borgetti who scored 46 in 89 appearances.

Hernandez has scored against all manner of opposition from the likes of world champions Spain to minnows like Gambia showing that he knows where the goal is and given the chance will find the back of the net at first time of asking.
