Manchester United’s reserves travelled to the Etihad to take on Man City “Elite Development Squad” last night in the final of the Manchester Senior Cup.
Having wrapped up the league the previous week, beating Aston Villa on penalties, this was the reserves chance to get their hands on another piece of silverware and they didn’t disappoint as a first half effort from Will Keane and then a sucker punch of a goal from Luke Giverin late on gave Warren Joyce’s side the 2-0 win.
