Javier Hernandez continued his impressive scoring record at international level, scoring Mexico’s winner as they beat Costa Rica.
With the season just starting Hernandez hasn’t seen as much playing time as he would have liked but he showed no signs of rust handing Mexico a 1-0 win last night.
Arriving late at the back post, Hernandez nodded in a Jorge Torres Nilo cross from the left wing for his 26th goal in 41 games.
