Prior to yesterday’s game with Swansea, Sky Sports aired an interview between United greats Gary Neville and Paul Scholes.
In that shortened version Scholes talked about Sir Alex’s retirement and the incoming manager David Moyes as well as announcing his decision to retire and talking about why.
But in this full version he talks about Sir Alex telling the players that he’d be leaving, the time he crossed Sir Alex and why he shuns the limelight amongst other things.

Scholes remains for me one of the best players that has ever worn a United shirt, and an amazingly grounded person. This is refreshing in the current ‘celeb footballer’ culture. The club will be poorer without him and I hope that we keep him on in some capacity.
