United are ready to bid £35m for Fabregas

There may be light at the end of the tunnel for Manchester United in their pursuit of Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas.

United are said to be preparing a club record breaking £35m bid for the midfielder but having been told twice already that the player is not for sale, it was believed United’s attempts to sign him were futile.

Apparently not, as Sky Sports claim that Fabregas is now entertaining the thought of a move to Old Trafford.

The former Arsenal captain  initially told former Barca boss Tito Vilanova that he planned on remaining at the Nou Camp but it seems he has had a change of heart. Sky are claiming that ‘the player is considering his position having been given no assurances that he will be a regular starter next season.’

With Puyol claiming that he doesn’t expect Cesc to leave and Pique telling United that they are wasting their time with their pursuit of Cesc, if true this will come as a shock to the Catalan club.

It remains to be seen if United can offer Barcelona the kind of money to sanction such a move though.

What is all the fuss about ? You should only spend money on players who are going to improve the team , I can,t see Fellani or cabaye doing that , big boys at smaller clubs , be patient I,d rather not win a trophy for a couple of years and bring our kids on then waste a fortune on inferior players , I for one do not want to see utd flooded with all European imports like our rivals do , do it the utd way through our youth team , has everyone forgotten already the nineties with our amazing kids , if you have watch some DVDs and you will see why we don,t buy 10 foreign player a year

The problem is the Man isn’t working in fact he has left all transfer deals to Mr Woodward Alone.. Do you think think a player makes his mind to sign a contract after listening to a sports director’s assurances or the coach’s, think about it..

We are sick and tired of all these biding issue, why can’t moyes get hold of one player than going for player he can’t even sign in the next decade..
