United are ready to bid £35m for Fabregas

Well this is getting tedious!

According to Marca, Manchester United are ready to make a ‘formal’ bid for Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas, despite reports yesterday that Cesc sees his future long and short term at the Nou Camp.

The report has left Marca as stumped as us as to what exactly United are playing at with all these bids. Marca’s guess is that United will carry on until Cesc comes out and says that he no intention of leaving Barca himself (and takes out a restraining order against the club and the ‘representatives’ who are pursuing him so aggressively).

Maybe Woodward gets some sick pleasure out of being rejected or perhaps it’s a big smokescreen and we are actually secretly tying up a move for Ronaldo and he will undergo secret training at Carrington and suddenly appear on the team sheet for the game against Swansea like Scholes did in that FA Cup game against City!

A fella can only dream I guess! So if this isn’t the case then lets all hope that with all our previous ‘informal’ bids falling flat on their face, lets hope our formal bid is enough to woo the player who apparently has no intention of leaving his home club.
