Derby County have refused to comment on rumours that they are set to move for Manchester United duo Michael Keane and Larnell Cole.
Following Jesse Lingard’s spectacular debut for Derby last weekend, it appears the interest in United’s other young talents has increased with a number of clubs interested in defender Keane and midfielder Cole.
Keane shone on loan at Leicester last year, earning rave reviews for his performances as well as a nomination for player of the year.
It was thought that another loan would be sought for the youngster as United look to continue the youngster’s development, whilst Cole was linked with a loan move earlier this summer with a number of club, domestic and abroad interested in his services.
Yesterday it was revealed that Derby County are interested in securing the services of both players but when approached by the Derby Telegraph yesterday for comment on a move for the duo Derby simple said there was nothing to report.
