Rooney shone vs Chelsea

Manchester United are set to go into Stamford Bridge in a much-anticipated match against Chelsea tomorrow.

The Red Devils are in top form right now, taking their last six matches, with their latest victory coming over Manchester City last weekend.

For Chelsea, a victory would all but seal the deal in their quest to capture the Premier League crown, a title they have failed to secure since 2010. They currently sit seven points clear of second place Arsenal, with a clash with the Gunners coming next weekend.

Despite going against a quality Chelsea team, United must feel good about their chances of emerging victorious after enjoying their latest slew of match results, which have seen the Red Devils beat the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, and Aston Villa.

United have certaintly turned the tides of their season. They look like a completely changed team from the squad who lost their first Premier League match of the season to Swansea City.

While United have momentum coming into Saturday’s match, Chelsea are, deservably, the big dogs on top right now. The Blues can taste the Premier League cup. With United posing as one of the two greatest threats to them left on their schedule, with next week’s Arsenal match being the other, they will surely give United their best shot.
