Baines was in the dark about a move to Old Trafford

Warning, you WILL need a translator for this!

A few days ago Everton took on Blackburn as part of their pre-season preparation and left back Leighton Baines, being the sound lad that these lot claim he is, decided to give a few Everton fans a lift to the game.

Through all the drunken rambling and garbled Scouse, one of the fans clearly asks Baines if he will be heading to Manchester United this summer.

A tongue tied Baines can only shrug as the fan then excuses his lack of an answer.

I could only handle 53 seconds of that…

David Cameron said something similar after his visit to Wythenshawe a few years back.

Anyway, Baines won’t go. You can have the inconsistent and undisciplined Fellaini, though. His attributes aren’t as suited to Martinez’s style of play as they were to Moyes’, so better that Roberto has the money from the sale to buy his type of player(s).

  2. Dixie says:

That’s because it’s not up to Baines, it’s up to Everton Football Club whether he gets sold or not.

Subtitles would help in between the expletives, shouldn’t take too long!

  4. Michael Myers says:

Dont worry yourselves over in the land of the dead…..he’s staying at Everton….and thats fact

  5. PJ says:

One Scouser in the team is our limit. If Rooney goes then we’ll get Baines!

  6. Rico says:

You disillusioned mother f*%kers, ???? although i totally admire you’re positivity. if United want him they’ll get him. Simples! Everton is a top top team but they’re never seriously going to be pushing for the trophies a player like Baines deserves to be competing for.

    • Austin D says:

Don’t worry, you won’t be competing for those trophies next year either! Moyes has already made an arse of himself with this Fabregas business, and there’s more of the same to come…

  7. Davey Blue says:

Yeah, I’m really surprised he didn’t give the full intricacies of his football future to some pissed Scallies while they filmed him in their phones.

I doubt he’ll go to United. But after Rooney went there, nothing would surprise me…
