Manchester United are set to offer Toni Kroos a whopping £260k a week to convince him to leave Bayern Munich this summer.

Despite reports claiming that their pursuit of Kroos would ultimately be futile, United hold hope that they can convince the 24 year old to head to Old Trafford.

Without Champions League football to offer the German international, United’s position is severely weakened and last week and last week Kroos’ agent suggested that he would remain in German until at least 2015 but The Guardian today claim that United are ready to offer Kroos big money to change his mind.

Jamie Jackson claims that United are willing to offer Kroos £260k a week, putting him the same pay bracket as the likes of Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie.

Whether the financial incentive will be enough to attract Kroos remains to be seen but with Kroos; contract running out and the midfielder hoping for an improved deal that  will reflect his importance to the team, United’s offer could pique his interest.

With Bayern Munich also announcing the signing of Sebastian Rode from Eintracht Frankfurt, could the German champions be preparing for life without Kroos?

This must be true!!! After all with no transfer fee agreed I’m 100% certain United would have offered Kroos these wages then they would have obviously rang Jamie Jackson from the Guardian to inform him……………………
