Rio Ferdinand has chided Former manager David Moyes for ostracising Robin Van Persie in his season in charge.
Van Persie struggle with form and injuries under Moyes, a drastic change from the prior season where he was United’s star man as they romped to a 20th league title.
Ferdinand believes that Moyes treatment of Van Persie played a big part in his somewhat poor season, extra poignant after Van Persie scored a brace in Holland’s 5-1 demolition of World champions Spain:
