Manchester United’s Robin Van Persie could prove key this summer if the press are right in that Louis Van Gaal wants to raid Dutch club Feyenoord for Jordy Clasie.
The 22 year old midfielder, dubbed ‘the Dutch Xavi’ (because one Xavi isn’t enough), appears to part of a planned £30m deal that will also see Bruno Martins Indi head to Old Trafford too.
But with Van Persie’s past as a Feyenoord player, the striker could play some part in getting both youngsters to the club. International team mates, the striker could have a word with both (as you do).
